Terms of Service

These terms apply when you visit RentYourSuit.com or place a rental order with RentYourSuit. RentYourSuit is operated by Suitable Collection LLC. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Suitable Collection LLC, doing business as RentYourSuit. By placing an order, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not place an order.

You are renting suits, tuxedos and accessories for your event. A rental is not a sale. The rented items remain our property and must be returned as described below.

We offer two packages. Coat and pants includes the coat and pants. The complete package includes the coat, pants, shirt, tie, vest, pocket square, shoes and cuff links, with your choices made on each outfit’s customize page.

All rental items belong to RentYourSuit at all times. You are renting, not buying, and you hold the items only for the rental period. If you do not return rental items, or do not pay for items you keep, we may treat that as unlawful conversion of our property and report it to the appropriate authorities.

You choose your event date for each order. Prices are shown in US dollars and depend on that date. The price you see for your event date before you add an outfit to your rental is the price you pay for that outfit.

When your event date calls for express handling, such as an event less than 14 days away, an express shipping fee is added for each rental. It appears as its own line in your cart and at checkout before you pay.

You pay for your entire order at checkout. Any taxes are calculated and shown at checkout.

Please enter your event date carefully. We use it to price and prepare your order.

You give us the sizing for each outfit, either by entering your own measurements or by using the 3D virtual measurement scan. We prepare your rental from the information you provide, so please make sure it is accurate.

The 3D virtual measurement scan is provided through a third-party measurement tool.

If an item does not fit, minor alterations, such as sleeve or pant length adjustments, can be done by a local seamstress or tailor.

Standard shipping to your home is free. We plan for your rental to arrive 10 to 14 days before your event. Events less than 14 days away ship express, and the express shipping fee applies.

We ship to street addresses in the United States. We do not ship to cruise ships or PO boxes.

Please enter your delivery address carefully at checkout. Delivery timing is our target and can be affected by carriers and by when you place your order.

All rental items must be shipped back using the prepaid return label on the Monday following your event.

If you lose your return label, email us and we will send a replacement.

If your rental items are not in transit back to us by the Wednesday following your event, a late fee of $20 per day is charged until they are.

If a rental item is not returned, is lost, or is damaged beyond repair, you may be charged its replacement cost, listed below, to the payment method you used for your order.

If an amount you owe under these terms is not paid when due, and we cannot successfully charge the payment method you used, we may refer the amount to a collection agency or pursue it through legal action. To the extent the law allows, you agree to pay the costs of collection, including collection agency fees, reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs.

You allow us, and any agency acting for us, to contact you about amounts owed using the phone number, email address and mailing address you gave us.

Charges that apply under these terms are charges you agree to when you place your order. Starting a chargeback or payment dispute for an amount you legitimately owe breaches these terms. We may contest any such dispute using your order records and these terms, and may pursue the amount owed through collections.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you place your order applies to that order.
